Hanamusic is a brand name combining the words “flower,” “insect,” and “music.” It expresses living creatures and natural history motifs in a pop style, unfolding a worldview that mixes a little bit of truth with fantasy. In 2021, the art toy brand Hanamusic was launched. It creates character objects using various materials.
ハナムシックのブランド名は、花と虫と音楽を合わせた造語です。いきものや博物学的なモチーフをポップに表現し、ほんの少しの本当と妄想をごちゃ混ぜにした世界観で展開しています。2021年、アートトイブランドHanamusicをスタート。様々な素材を用いてキャラクターのオブジェを制作しています。

Was in charge of the packaging design for Nivea Cream's 2021 limited edition design products and the illustrations for the novelty picture book.

The “Emotional Series” depicts moments of various emotions felt in daily life—joy, delight, surprise, longing, anger, and more. In this “Emotional Composition,” I captured fragments of cherished feelings—those “casual joys and pleasures” that can be easily swept away in our rapidly changing, stimulating times.
「Emotional」シリーズは、日常の中で感じるさまざまな感情の瞬間——喜び、楽しさ、驚き、切なさ、怒りなど——を描いた作品群です。今回の「Emotional Composition」では、変化が激しく、刺激にあふれるこの時代の中ではすぐに掻き消されてしまう“何気ないうれしさや楽しさ”といった、大切にしたい感情のかけらたちを描きました。

I'm an art director, illustrator, and designer. I'm active in many areas of ”creation.” I mainly work in photography direction, and am also responsible for a lot of fashion photography, post-shoot retouching, and design. In recent years, I've focused on illustration, and while working as a Hyakunin Isshu artist, I also launched the ”PEACE TO CAT” project, which allows me to play a part in supporting cat rescue activities.

”PEACE TO CAT” connects various people and cats, with people's hairstyles depicted as cats. Rather than focusing on ”a specific person” or ”a specific cat,” the illustrations show many people and cats finding happiness through various encounters and connections. As a foster parent for rescued cats, I wanted to support as many rescued cats as possible, so I launched the ”PEACE TO CAT” project, hoping that a portion of my sales would go towards supporting rescue cat activities. You can put tulle inside the ”cologne can.” You can put your cat's hairball in it and take it with you when you go out. You can also use it as lip balm. We hope that by having it available to so many different people, it will help a cat somewhere and the person who rescued it.
ニンゲンの髪型が猫で描かれる、様々な人と猫を結ぶ「PEACE TO CAT」。
「特定の誰か」「特定の猫」ではなく、様々な出会いと繋がりでたくさんのニンゲンと猫が幸せを結べるようなイラストを展開。
作家自身が保護猫の里親であることから、少しでもたくさんの保護猫を応援したい、という気持ちから、売り上げの一部を保護猫活動の支援の一部になれればと思い、「PEACE TO CAT」プロジェクトを立ち上げました。
コロン缶の中にチュールを仕込むも良し。愛猫の毛玉を入れて一緒にお出かけするも良し。リップバームにするも良し。様々な方に手に取ってもらえる分、どこかの猫と保護したニンゲンの助けになりますように。 -

Born in Tokyo, raised in Nagano, and currently living in Kanagawa. After working at a design firm for around 15 years and retiring, he attended the Aoyama Illustration School. I studied under Professors Zenji Funahashi and Tatsuro Kiuchi for two years, and began working as an illustrator in 2017. I create illustrations for events, books, magazines, advertisements, the web, and more, as well as manga and characters.

Born 1978 in Osaka. Inspired by Japanese subcultures, BAKI pattern is a modern update of ancient patterns, and aspires to become a representative Japanese pattern of the 21st century. While its roots are in live painting at clubs, festivals and other music venues, it is currently active both in Japan and abroad, focusing on exterior wall painting and public art.
1978年、大阪生まれ。日本のサブカルチャーに着想を得て、古来の紋様を現代的にアップデートした《BAKI柄》は、21世紀を代表する和柄を志向している。
クラブやフェスなど音楽の現場におけるライブペインティングをルーツとしつつ、現在は建物の外壁画／パブリックアートに注力し、国内外で活動を展開している。 -
Wearing a bright red costume all over his body, the artist is known as “The Red Man” in Osaka.
In 1992, he opened the “Red Gallery,” a bright red gallery.
In 1997, he moved to a new location and opened the "Ken Hamazaki Museum of Contemporary Art".
Currently, he is working under the concept of “flying”, “sleeping”, and "sitting".
The "flying" is "In-Flight Painting". It is a work in which the artist finishes his work in his studio, which is the closest to space, while flying in the sky in an airplane. He is truly an "artist with no feet on the ground".
The "sleeping" is "In-Sleep Drawing". It is the ultimate in abstract painting, in which the artist paints while sleeping every day. This is truly an "artist selling dreams".
The "sitting“ is a tea ceremony performance called ”Red Tea Ceremony-YOU ARE GOD-" performed in Japan and abroad. He performs under the name of Hechiken, the successor to the tea master Hechikan. He has been featured as an icon of the “Burning Man” art event held annually in the Nevada desert in the United States.全身を真っ赤な衣装で包み、大阪では「赤い人」として知られるアーティスト。
1992年より真っ赤なギャラリー「Red Gallery」をオープン。
1997年に移転し「浜崎健立現代美術館」を開館。
現在は「飛ぶ」「寝る」「座る」をコンセプトに活動している。
「飛ぶ」は"In-Flight Painting"という飛行機の中で空を飛んでいる間に宇宙に一番近いアトリエで作品を仕上げるという、まさに「地に足つかないアーティスト」。
「寝る」は"In-Sleep Drawing=寝画"という毎日寝ながら作品を描くという究極の抽象画で、これはまさに「夢を売る芸術家」。
